The exploration include the conceptual differences in relations between the Chinese and the westerners, the comparison of the discrepancies in relational leaderships, and the influences of relational leadership upon principals' leaderships. There are key strategies being proposed: (1) establishing quality relationships through reinforcing sincere concerns, empowering, and mutual trust; (2)adopting system thinking as a leadership strategy to develop positive relations and influences; (3) integrating the essence of relational leaderships of the Chinese and the westerners to enhance its efficiency; (4) reinforcing the principals' expertise on relational leadership and their abilities to articulate visions; (5) strengthening research on marketing relationships since it is an important communicative skill for the Chinese; (6) realizing and well using full power to shape an organic spiral relationship for good governance; and (7) disposing of nepotism and private relationships, and properly applying relationship rights without making mistakes. The authors finally provide valuable conclusions for school administrators to take for references. |
