The study sets its purpose to investigate the relationship among the process from teaching to administration, the family of origin, studying experience and marital life for three Hakka female elementary school principals. The researcher finds out that the proportion of female elementary principal increases gradually in Kaohsiung area. Among the increasing proportion, Hakka females take the majority. Consequently, the study investigates whether the role of gender has an influence on the three female principals' engagement in school administration. The study adopts narrative way which lets the three Hakka female principals share their life experiences. Through the talking from their personal experiences, the researcher expects to convey each female principal's unique life experience and let more people understand Hakka female elementary school principals' career developments further. |
