With COVID-19 transitioning into an endemic phase and seasonal influenza resuming active transmission following the reopening of borders, healthcare systems worldwide are facing the challenge of the co-circulation of COVID-19 and infuenza. COVID-19 and infuenza share similar transmission routes, clinical manifestations, and high-risk populations, which increases the complexity of diferential diagnosis, patient triage, and healthcare-associated infection control. This article examines infection control strategies during this co-circulation from the perspectives of clinical practice and healthcare quality management. Key approaches include precise screening, early identification of high-risk individuals, environmental management, protection of healthcare workers, and promotion of vaccination. Through these multidimensional measures, healthcare facilities can support effective clinical management and establish a resilient infection control framework, thereby ensuring patient safety and maintaining healthcare system capacity.
