Regional hospitals play a critical role in providing acute care and maintaining the quality of healthcare services. However, under constraints of limited human resources and educational capacity, establishing stable and reliable team‑based operational models remains a significant challenge. This hospital adopts high-fdelity simulation as a core strategy, transforming team training from one-time educational activities into a structured and institutionalized training mechanism. By integrating team resource management and the principles of high reliability organizations, a multidisciplinary simulation training framework has been developed. Through risk‑based scenario design, standardized training processes, in-situ simulation, and structured debriefng, a simulation-centered team training system was gradually established. In addition, sustained operation is ensured through faculty development, interprofessional collaboration, and administrative integration. The hospital also actively participated in national simulation competitions organized by the Joint Commission of Taiwan, using external benchmarking and feedback to continuously refne and improve the training system. This article presents a practical and transferable model, illustrating how regional hospitals with limited resources can develop high‑reliability healthcare teams through simulation‑based training.
