Purpose: to investigate the five competitions of the 68kg gold medalists in the in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games of Taekwondo, by video post-match analysis. Methods: the Video System Observation Approach was used to record and compile the obtained data. The MS-EXCEL program was used for calculation and description analysis. Results: 1. the passive attack approaches of Ulugbek Rashitov are higher than active attack approaches; the number of attacks with the right foot is significantly higher than the number of attacks with the left foot; the front foot attack is higher than the rear foot. The attack success rate: the rear foot attack is 54% which is higher than the front foot attack (13.61%), and the success rate of the left-hand frontal punch is 50.00%, higher than the right-hand frontal punch, which is 0%. 2.The frequency of the main attack patterns: the frequency of front side kick is up to 161 times. 3.The frequency of scoring and success rate of the main attack patterns: back kick is the highest scoring skill; the reverse kick has the highest success rate. Conclusion: Ulugbek Rashitov applied Open Stance. The right foot is mainly used for active restraint, probing and destruction. The left foot and left hand were aims to attack and score; the main attacking and scoring actions were back kick, frontal punches and front foot axe kick. These patterns are the key technical actions to win and provides a reference for domestic coaches and players to train.
