In recent years, the education sector has faced challenges such as students’ lack of motivation and goals, smartphone use, insufficient attention, and irregular lifestyles, leading to decreased engagement in both compulsory and elective courses. Effective teaching methods are needed to engage students, stimulate their interest, and increase their motivation to learn.This study will focus on the Introduction to Japanese Course, reassessing the issues of group formation and task allocation in large classes, and establishing an assessment system. It will introduce cooperative learning in groups, evaluate students’ tasks and learning outcomes within the groups, and design effective group activities through team competition games to enhance learning outcomes and cultivate talents with problem-solving abilities and humanistic qualities. Additionally, this study aims to improve students’ abilities in teamwork, problem-solving, information technology, and communication, helping them to increase their competitiveness in the global job market.
