Since the establishment of its Healthcare Quality Review Committee in 1986, Taichung Veterans General Hospital has remained dedicated to improving healthcare quality and patient safety. To promote comprehensive integrated healthcare, the hospital implemented a program of total quality management in 2000, strengthened patient safety operations in 2006, and established the Center for Quality Management in 2013. Through interdepartmental cooperation, Taichung Veterans General Hospital has established annual goals and conducted professional training for medical staff. A visual dashboard system enables hospital staff to monitor medical indicators in real time, considerably improving healthcare quality. This system has received multiple awards in domestic and international evaluations. In the future, Taichung Veterans General Hospital will continue to strengthen patient-centered care models and actively invest in innovative medical technologies to provide safer and higher quality medical services, aiming to become an industry benchmark.
