Creating a Friendly Medical Environment: A Case Study of Ma Kuang United Clinics of Traditional Chinese Medicine

衛生福利部為鼓勵醫療院所以「通用設計（Universal Design）」概念，規劃友善就醫服務及提升無障礙就醫環境，辦理競賽激勵醫療院所，設置使高齡長者、婦女、兒童、身心障礙或行動不便之民眾，能順利就醫之環境空間、設備、溝通工具及服務流程。期望透過此競賽能選拔標竿醫院及診所，促進醫界夥伴交流學習。本院秉持著四大核心價值：照護病人、善待員工、堅持專業、誠實正直，打造中醫的優質醫療服務。

本院透過組織願景及企業文化，傾聽一線員工心聲，由下而上落實核心價值。從流程與細節中找出創新的空間，建構出完善且高標準醫療服務，營造友善健康照護環境。

 

To encourage medical institutions to adopt the “Universal Design” concept and establish a friendly and barrier-free medical environment, the Ministry of Health and Welfare organized a competition that motivates healthcare institutions to create spaces, facilities, communication tools, and service processes that ensure smooth access to medical care for elderly, women, children, and individuals with disabilities or mobility challenges. This competition aims to identify benchmark hospitals and clinics, fostering knowledge exchange and learning among healthcare professionals. Ma Kuang United Clinics of Traditional Chinese Medicine upholds four core values: caring for patients, valuing employees, maintaining professionalism, and practicing honesty and integrity. These values form the foundation for providing high-quality Traditional Chinese Medicine services.

By embracing our organizational vision and corporate culture, we actively listen to the voices of first-line staff and implement our core values from the ground up. Through this approach, we identify opportunities for innovation within processes and details, ultimately constructing a comprehensive and high-standard healthcare service and cultivating a friendly and healthcare environment.
