This study investigates the competitive records of Chinese Deaf Taekwondo from 2007 to 2022. Through a literature review, it explores the competitive journey of the Chinese Deaf Taekwondo team during this period and discusses its future direction, which is the main objective of this research. The study reveals that the competitive performance of the Chinese Deaf Taekwondo team has been on the decline. The reasons for this include inadequate athlete recruitment, inconsistent training schedules, and a depletion of coaching talent. In conclusion, recruiting Deaf Taekwondo athletes is currently a challenging task, and competitive performance is experiencing a downturn.
