The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of visual feedback intervention on the learning efficiency of teaching the basic tennis strokes in physical education. The data were obtained from 188 undergraduate students enrolled in tennis PE lessons. The subjects were assigned randomly into two groups: The visual aids group (92 people) and the control group (96 people). The multimedia visual aids teaching materials and traditional teaching materials of forehand and backhand strokes were designed for the multimedia visual aids group and the control group, respectively. Using two-way ANOVA test was designed to compare the results of hitting movements and hitting accuracy between the two groups. The results showed that the multimedia visual aids group had higher post-test scores than the control group. In conclusion, the multimedia visual aids intervention improves the learning efficiency of the basic strokes in tennis in university physical education lessons. In the future, the multimedia learning platform could be considered when conducting online teaching and performance evaluation. |
