This paper starts with the various categories of editorials from news outlet and highlights their inherent dialectic nature. It goes on to discuss soft skills that enhance reading comprehension and hard-core analytics that stress on logic and causation. The hard-core writing analytics can be analyzed through the lens of ying-yang symbol, or a corresponding tree diagram, which implies the impossibility of dichotomy and the inherent limitation of categorization, as too many layers of sub-categorization could be ineffective. This paper upholds the concept of optimal categorization, which would normally call for two layers, that helps to see through the writing analytics and conceive proper translation strategies. Although the structure of writing analytics could be inherently unstable, translator could still rely on a structuralist approach as the overall structure would remain largely robust and stable, prior and up to the stage of optimal categorization. Finally, this paper provides a psychoanalysis metaphor that helps to conceive translation strategies.
