This study explored early childhood educators' attitudes toward the integration of information technology into kindergartens in Hsinchu, Miaoli, and the Taichung area. A questionnaire regarding Digital Kindergarten Administrations was developed; it consisted of five factors, including value cognition, information infrastructures, reduction of pressure, file management, and professional development. According to the results from SEM, this measurement model expressed the reasonable quality by confirmatory factory analysis, and the analysis of structure model proved the hypotheses. The results showed that early childhood educators with a positive view of digital kindergartens preferred digital services and file management. They employed information technology to advance their practices of childcare, instruction, and teacher-student interaction, and presented better performance in early childhood pedagogy and administrations. Some implications of the findings are also discussed in the study. |
