The feasibility of the life photo story applied to the teaching for moderate autism children is investigated in this paper. During the ten months teaching procedure, the real living experience of autism children is combined with life photos to sketch out the stories of miscellaneous pieces in their daily livings. The photo story also includes the question-and-answer and writing practices. The results reveal that teaching with life photo story provides great help for autism children to cognize their own living experience. The teaching procedure also improves their ability and comprehension to read picture books, increases the accuracy of answering the related persons, affairs, time, and places, and raises their ability of active oral expression. |
