This study aimed to investigate the occurrence rate of the cluttering student in Ping Tung elementary school and it's corresponding with the foreign literature or not. By means of surveying articulation Test and collect their speech samples, we analyzed their articulation type. The investigator screened 2074 elementary school second degree students. Evaluate 9 students submitted from general teacher who had not receiver speech therapy. Test on language assessment and collect their speech sample, analyzing their phonological process by recording and organize the characteristic in terms of articulation. The study found that the students submitted from general teacher areal articulation disorders not the cluttering. We could not screen the cluttering student, the possible reasons are:1. The cluttering occurrence rate may less than stuttering. 2. The checklist translates from English is still not clear. 3. General teachers lock of the basic knowledge of cluttering. 4. Parents tend to overestimate their children's language ability. Suggestions for future research on the recommendations of cluttering. |
