As domestic offshore wind turbines are completed and put into operation one after another, the demand for operation and maintenance management is increasing. Unmanned Vehicles (UVs) technology has gradually become the core tool for wind farm safety inspection and maintenance operations, including underwater and surface unmanned vehicles (AUV, USV) and aerial drones (UAV). At present, the application of unmanned vehicles in China is still limited by challenges such as laws and regulations, weather and insufficient development of local technology. In particular, more resources need to be invested in strengthening technology research and development to meet future market needs. In order to promote the safe application of unmanned vehicle technology in offshore wind farms, this study has completed the development case summary of unmanned vehicles and vehicle and relay platform collaboration in the European Union, the United States and the Asia-Pacific region, analyzed the design and development, application fields, performance requirements and integration methods of different types of unmanned vehicles and Maritime support offshore platforms around the world, and provided reference directions and suggestions for the future development of platform technology in Taiwan. |
