High entropy alloys are composed of five or more principal elements with atomic ratios ranging from 5 to 35 %. The Co1.5CrFeNi1.5Ti0.5Mo0.2 alloy used in this study was prepared by casting. This alloy exhibits simple face-centered cubic structures. Furthermore, the Co1.5CrFeNi1.5Ti0.5Mo0.2 alloy is ductile, can be effectively work-hardened, and has high mechanical strength at temperatures up to 800 ℃, indicating that this alloy has potential applications in high-temperature structures and working tools. The purpose of this study is to investigate the electrochemical properties of the Co1.5CrFeNi1.5Ti0.5Mo0.2 alloy in aqueous environments that simulate acidic and marine environments at ambient temperatures of around 25 ℃. The electrochemical features of the Co1.5CrFeNi1.5Ti0.5Mo0.2 alloy were investigated by potentiodynamic polarization and cyclic polarization tests. The morphology and microstructure of the sample were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
