My Starting Point in Teaching Chinese: The Year I Began at NCHU

本文分享作者自國立中興大學修習華語文教學學程以來的學習歷程，以及準備華語教學研究所之經驗與體會。作者於大學期間透過課程修習、試教實作與學伴經驗，逐步體認華語教學的專業內涵與教學現場的實際挑戰，並從中確立未來投入華語教學之志向。在準備研究所的過程中，作者透過系統化整理考試重點、反覆練習歷屆試題，以及反思自身學習軌跡，逐漸培養扎實的專業基礎與清楚的學習方向。最終順利錄取多所華語教學研究所。本文期盼透過個人經驗分享，為有志投入華語教學或準備升學者提供實務參考與鼓勵。

This article recounts the author's learning journey in the Mandarin Teaching Program at National Chung Hsing University and reflects on the process of preparing for graduate studies in Mandarin language education. Through coursework, teaching practicum, and interactions with international students, the author gradually developed an understanding of the professional demands and real-world challenges of Mandarin teaching, which helped clarify a future career direction in this field. During graduate school preparation, the author strengthened academic foundations by systematically organizing key subject areas, practicing past examination questions, and reflecting on personal learning experiences. These efforts ultimately led to successful admission to multiple graduate programs in Mandarin teaching. By sharing this experience, the author hopes to offer practical insights and encouragement to readers who are considering a path in Mandarin language education.
