The organization of writing is a “binary confrontation” between the masculine (Yang) and feminine (Yin), attributes that correspond to the gradational logic of nature. When referring to literary work, this relationship will highlight the logical structure of subject matters. To uncover, layer by layer, the intrinsic logic of writing requires the construction of a theory. The first step is to identify the different types of organization of written text, which will form a “micro-scope”. The next step is to generalize the regular patterns and related patterns of organization to develop a “meso-scope”. The final step is to integrate these two levels into a “macro-scope” by means of the “multiple, binary and single (zero)” spiral structure. The three-scope theory is constructed upward by “inductive reasoning” and downward by “deductive reasoning” to generate spiral effect of “interaction, circulation and promotion”. |
