蘇軾論商鞅評議

The Comments of Su-Shi on Shang-Yang

本文通過蘇軾相關的文章，探討其對商鞅的評論；大致而言則可分為「批評」與「認同」兩部分。由於歷代以來對於商鞅的評價均偏向負面，因此蘇軾對其批判是不自待言的。此外，本文發現蘇軾其實也有許多認同商鞅的觀點，這是蘇軾與許多謾罵商鞅者不同之處。

The paper is to explore the comments on Shang-Yang(商鞅) which basically are divided into two faction–criticism and recognition–through the relevant articles of Su-Shi(蘇軾). From all the past dynasties, most comments on Shang-Yang are inclined to be negative, so no wonder that Su-Shi always directly criticizes Shang-Yang. Besides, the paper discovers that Su-Shi also has many viewpoints about recognizing Shang-Yang indeed, which is the difference between Su-Shi and other scholars who condemn Shang-Yang.
