| 英文摘要 |
The concept of “Liang Xing”(兩行)only appeared in the chapter “Discussion on Making All Things Equal”(齊物論)in the Zhuangzi. Although “Liang Xing”(兩行) appeared only once in the whole text, it discussed important and central philosophical meanings of the Zhuangzi. In this paper, I point out that if we just regard “Liang Xing” (兩行)as a parallel proceeding of both sides which conflict with each other, we may misunderstand the meaning of “Liang Xing”(兩行). In this paper, I first critically examine several explanations of “Liang Xing”(兩行)and point out shortcomings in previous discussions on the meaning of “Liang Xing”(兩行). Then I show how to comprehend the meaning of “Liang Xing” (兩行) and on appropriate ways to reflect on the meaning of the text. After this, I finally discuss the ethical implications of “Liang Xing”(兩行). |
