This paper focuses on the impact and responses to using student athletes' names, images, and likenesses after granting open licensing under the U.S. legal system. It provides an overview and analysis of relevant court rulings and the content of proposed federal legislation. Building on this foundation, the paper offers long-term legal and industrial development recommendations, serving as a reference for addressing similar domestic issues. These include proposals to relax restrictions on the rights to names, images, and likenesses of athletes at all levels in our country and institutional recommendations to promote the industrialization of student athletics. As our nation prepares to establish a sports ministry, it is hoped to adopt a long-term perspective and strive for the sustainable development of both professional and student athletics. |
