This study explored the implementation of career development within a general education curriculum in an university of science and technology in order to enhance students’self-awareness and career planning competencies. The course integrated the career development materials for college students from Ministry of Education and used interactive career card activities to facilitate student engagement. The research results indicated that the integration of career development into general education courses can effectively enhance students' understanding of their personal traits, career values, and vocational interests, thereby assisting them in planning their future career paths. The findings suggested as follows: the course model should be expanded to other courses to enhance career literacy among university students. |
