國家圖書館學位論文典藏之應用：相似檢測輔助系統功能與試營運概況

Leveraging NCL’s ETD Repository: Introducing WriteAid Similarity Scanner and Trial Operation Overview

國家圖書館為全國學位論文法定送存圖書館，學位論文資料庫截至114年4月典藏逾147萬筆書目資料，以及超過110萬筆之學位論文電子檔，完整保存臺灣各大學校院的碩博士論文。為提升碩博士生論文寫作品質、強化學生之學位論文原創性，教育部指示國家圖書館與國立臺灣師範大學圖書資訊學研究所合作，以國圖「臺灣博碩士論文知識加值系統」之博碩士論文電子全文，以及回溯數位化之論文電子檔做為檢測來源，建置「學位論文相似檢測輔助系統」。本系統特色有三項：1.使用碩博士論文資料作為檢測來源，有助於學生更完善地確保學術研究的嚴謹性與原創性；2.章節剖析系統自動排除不需比對之章節，減少檢測報告中的雜訊；3.各大學可免費申請使用。系統於111年11月至114年2月間完成三次系統試營運，總計服務3,716名碩博士生，完成5,286篇論文檢測。未來將持續配合教育部政策並參考使用者意見進行系統功能調整，同時加強與各校行政層面之溝通，以利未來運作。

National Central Library (NCL) is the legal depository for all academic theses and dissertations in Taiwan. As of April 2025, its database contains over 1.47 million bibliographic records and more than 1.1 million full-text electronic files, preserving comprehensive scholarly output from Taiwanese universities. To improve thesis writing quality and promote academic originality, the Ministry of Education commissioned the NCL and the Graduate Institute of Library and Information Studies at National Taiwan Normal University to develop the WriteAid Similarity Scanner. This system draws from the full-text theses in the National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan, including retrospectively digitized files. Key features include: 1. Use of master's and doctoral theses as comparison sources to uphold research integrity. 2. An automatic chapter analysis module that filters out non-comparable sections to reduce report noise. 3. Free access for universities upon application. Between November 2022 and February 2025, the system underwent three trial runs, assisting 3,716 graduate students with 5,286 thesis checks. The system will continue to evolve in line with Ministry of Education policies and user feedback, while strengthening communication with university administrators to ensure effective future implementation.
