This study explored the challenges and strategic directions of school digital governance in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) through the framework of wisdom for action, conceptualized as “(awareness ↔ knowledge) ↔ (action ↔ reflection)”. The analysis identified that digital transformation enhances administrative efficiency and instructional innovation while creating issues such as privacy risks, ethical concerns, and educational inequities. Five key strategies were proposed: developing data-driven school governance with action for wisdom, fostering dual literacy in artificial and aesthetic intelligence, building collaborative teacher cultures and professional learning communities, integrating high-tech, human-centered and critical approaches into intelligent learning, and constructing highly collaborative and resilient platforms for sustainable development. The study concluded that effective digital governance requires a balance between technological innovation, critical reflection and humanistic values to equity, ethics, and educational sustainability. |
