The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of natural landscape images on juvenile offenders' emotional state. In the study, the experimental subjects were the students of Chen Cheng High School. The environmental stimuli were natural landscape images. The total length of the experiment lasted 6 months. The participants' affective states were evaluated al three phases. A total of 111 students participated the full experiment and completed the questionnaires. The research findings indicated that natural landscape image had a significant impact on juvenile offenders' emotional state after 3 months ol landscape image display. Among the 12 items of affective responses, only one of them, feeling of warmness' didn't show significant difference. However, the effects of landscape images paused and even decreased as the experiment proceeded to the sixth month. |
