他城╱我城：論也斯、王安憶散文中的港滬書寫

The Other City / My City: Hong Kong and Shanghai in the Essays of Yesi and Anyi Wang

二十世紀末李歐梵提出的「雙城」觀點，啟發了滬港在近現代歷史文化中互為他者的鏡像思索。向來以中原文化為天下中心的中國版圖內，同屬座標邊緣的上海與香港有諸多錯綜複雜的微妙勾連。也斯與王安憶分別為港滬兩地具有指標意義的作家，兩者皆創作過遊觀他城（滬、港），銘刻我城的散文文本，並通過遊記的形式展現了兩地的文化傳播與交流。八〇年代至千禧年，是港滬同樣遭遇急遽變化的時期，本文聚焦於也斯與王安憶此一階段的雙城書寫，進窺也斯、王安憶的雙城觀察與想像，以及潛流於表層文本之下的深層底蘊，如何反映了兩地居民在歷史變革中的心理變化和身分認同的重建？兩人如何在書寫中丈量他城、我城與中國的距離？這兩座城市千絲萬縷的關係是什麼？鏡射魅影的懸想中，理想的烏托邦何在？本文希冀藉由前述的問題意識，細緻地考掘也斯、王安憶雙城書寫裡交織纏繞的內在葛藤，與其輻射出幽微深邃的空間意義。

By the late 20th century, Leo Oufan Lee’s“dual cities”perspective had inspired reflections on the cultural and historical parallels and contrasts between Shanghai and Hong Kong. As two cities located on the periphery of China’s cultural map, outside the central plains’cultural core, Shanghai and Hong Kong share a complex and nuanced connection. Yesi and Anyi Wang, two prominent writers representing Hong Kong and Shanghai respectively, explored these connections through their essays. By writing about the other city (Shanghai for Yesi and Hong Kong for Anyi Wang) while reflecting on their own, they recorded the cultural exchanges and transformations between the two places, often in the form of travel narratives. The period from the 1980s to 2000 marked a time of dramatic change for both cities, and their works reveal the inner thoughts of the residents and the reconstruction of identities during these historical shifts. This paper examines how Yesi and Anyi Wang, through their writings, observed the distances between“the other city”and“their own city”, as well as the intricate relationships between the two. In their reflections and imaginings, do they depict an ideal utopia? These writings express the inner struggles and profound cultural implications embedded in their dual-city narratives.
