Globalization has caused the world to face many common problems. The past approach of focusing on economic development as the primary goal has caused many serious environmental and social problems, which have begun to threaten the safety of mankind and its descendants. The United Nations adopted the 2030 Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, calling for the promotion of 17 goals and becoming a new trend in international development cooperation. The author first examines the 17 core goals and 169 detailed goals of the sustainable development goals one by one, trying to understand the expectations of the international community. Then he searches for books written by Sun Yat-sen, sorts out similar or related propositions, and discovers the relationship between Sun Yat-sen's thought and sustainable development. The two goals are almost identical or similar in terms of focus and implementation practices. Only the 14th item, Life below Water, has not found a more specific intersection. There are many other similarities and above. The national development blueprint proposed by Sun Yat-sen a hundred years ago, in addition to having important ideological context and practical norms, is now also applicable to international cooperation and development, and can be found in the specific propositions of the United Nations' sustainable development goals. After a hundred years, Without falling, the superiority of Sun Yat-sen's thought can be seen from this. Although the time and space corresponding to the two are different, they both share the same pursuit of values such as freedom, democracy, fairness, and human rights, which is the so-called ''modernity plan.'' |
