The deepening of comprehensive and coordinated reforms in the judicial system marks a new phase for China after accomplishing the foundational tasks of judicial reform. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, several judicial reform initiatives have been successfully implemented. However, there are still issues with inadequate coordination, weak system integration capabilities, and uneven outcomes in areas such as the judicial power operation system, judicial management system, dispute resolution mechanisms, and judicial informatization. These problems have led to reform stagnation, making it difficult to fully achieve the anticipated objectives. To break out of this stagnation, it is necessary to implement the requirements set forth in the 20th Party Congress report regarding deepening comprehensive and coordinated judicial reforms. This calls for a unified advancement of top-level design and local exploration. The focus should be on optimizing the judicial power operation system, deepening reforms in the judicial management system, promoting innovation in dispute resolution mechanisms, and advancing the integration of judicial reforms with informatization efforts. By enhancing the systematization, comprehensiveness, and coordination of judicial reforms, the advantages of the socialist judicial system with Chinese characteristics can be fully realized. |
