In recent years, the industrial competition has changed dramatically, and enterprises nowadays face not only the challenge of technical innovation, but also the task of how to maintain the elasticity of manpower. To meet the labor market demand, employing temporary workers was a good solution. Prior studies have demonstrated that the advantages for enterprises to employ temporary workers are to reduce long-term fixed cost, to diminish the expense of recruitment, and to save the money of on-the-job re-training. Since temporary workers might be an irresistible mainstream in the labor market, how to enhance temporary workers' skills and create job opportunities are the most important issue for temporary staffing agencies and temporary workers. The purpose of this study emphasizes on the perspective of employee-organization relationship to understand the temporary staffing agencies' willing of investing in temporary workers' training. Thus, according to literature review, we present the current situation of temporary workers' training and proposed six propositions as empirical hypotheses in the future research. It will provide the suggestion about temporary workers' training for temporary staffing agencies. |
