To disseminate the essence of cultural heritage, the National Central Library has, since 2012, held thematic exhibitions of its special collections in various overseas cities annually. These exhibitions aim to showcase the classical culture and traditional aesthetics inherent in Sinology through precious ancient texts, presented from diverse perspectives including literature, history, religion, and art. The content and presentation of these exhibitions have continuously evolved and transformed over time. For instance, the exhibition framework has not only developed into a comprehensive and branded exhibition series but has also progressively expanded the scope of related exhibits. The exhibition methods have become increasingly diversified, refined, and accessible. The exhibition settings have evolved into customized atmospheres tailored to different countries and individual themes. In terms of integrating academic resources, a new sub-brand, 'Taiwan Corner,' has been added. Furthermore, technology is employed to combine“physical”exhibits with“virtual”experiences, achieving“Integration of real and virtual display.”Looking ahead, the NCL hopes to continue developing a new brand of modular and portable stands and incorporate innovative technologies such as AI to provide visitors with an enhanced, multi-sensory experience. |
