This study interviewed five single female novice teachers in public preschools in Taipei to explore the challenges they face and strategies they adopt when communicating with parents about children's behavior. The findings of the study are as follows: (1) Communication experiences are influenced by coping abilities, where objectivity and friendliness promote positive interactions; (2) Parental and teacher attitudes affect behavior, with empathy and encouragement fostering constructive communication; (3) Trust in the parent-teacher relationship is shaped by their respective stances, with mutual trust establishing a shared understanding; and (4) The channels of communication impact parent-teacher cooperation, with diverse interactions opening avenues for collaboration. |
