The documents are divided into paper documents and non-paper documents, and also include the elders who understand the history. With the theme of ''Texts of Digital Humanities'', we talked about the old cultural relics related to the Xiyu Tower Lantern preserved in the Wenwang Temple and Cihang Temple in Waiyan, as well as the relevant records in the past, and discussed the text coverage of the document collection and digitization process. First, we compared the inscriptions on the different versions of the Penghu Hall Records with the texts on the stone tablets, and learned about the precious information preserved on the personnel, process, operation and management of the Xiyu Tower Lantern. Later, photographs were used to verify the physical and written records, such as the stone gourd, the glass-surrounded top floor, the octagonal tower lamp and the stone relief statues, supplemented by inscriptions and the written records of foreign scholars' visits to Penghu, which served as a verification and reference. |
