The purpose of this study is to enhance the learning outcomes of gross motor activities for children in inclusive classes through professional collaboration between preschool teachers and occupational therapists within the framework of sensory integration strategies. Gross motor activities teaching materials were designed and integrated into the semester plan, using Weplay physical equipment to create various creative path combinations for children to engage in large muscle activities in an S-shaped circular motion. Ayres’sensory integration theory was referenced as the framework for strategy development, and the developmental status of a class including children with special needs was analyzed. Clinical reasoning was employed to identify potential issues. Through professional collaboration, appropriate functional strategies were discussed and implemented in the gross motor activities teaching design for the inclusive class. Reflections on the process of collaboration between preschool teachers and occupational therapists, as well as the participation of both general and special education children, were also provided. |
