This study used the questionnaire survey method to explore the perceptions of teachers’innovative teaching behaviors among students in nine technical high schools in remote areas in Taiwan. A total of 816 valid questionnaires were collected. The results show that students gen¬erally believe that more than half of the teachers perform innovatively in aspects such as“teacher-student interaction”and“teaching environment creation.“Behaviors such as“encouraging students to think from differ-ent perspectives”and“stimulating learning enthusiasm in interesting ways”are highly recognized. However, the variety of“teaching methods and strategies”is insufficient, and the practice in“linking courses to cur¬rent events”and“contextualized teaching”is low. The main reasons in¬clude insufficient systematic training, limited development capabilities of localization of teaching materials, and the threshold for integrating digi¬tal tools. It is recommended that education authorities strengthen strat¬egy-oriented empowerment courses, build platforms of resource sharing across schools, integrate local industry cases and current issues databas¬es, and supplement with digital tools and student feedback mechanisms to enhance teachers’innovative teaching capabilities and respond to the diverse learning needs of remote areas students, and promote adaptive education goals. |
