Employing a qualitative approach, the research focuses on full-time female administrative staff, utilizing in-depth interviews and grounded theory methodology for data collection and analysis. Five core categories emerged: Change Context, Change Implementation, Manifestation of Work Values, Performance Impact, and Interaction between Values and Performance. The findings reveal that organizational change is a complex process involving objective organizational adjustments and subjective employee factors. Female employees’perceptions and responses are pivotal in determining change success. The study demonstrates that work values influence job performance through cognitive appraisal and behavioral adaptation pathways. Due to distinct social roles and career expectations, female employees exhibit specific value orientations and adaptation strategies when facing organizational change. Those oriented toward personal development tend to view change as an opportunity for growth, while others may resist change. This research significantly enhances our understanding of the relationship between work values and performance among female employees during organizational change. Importantly, it provides practical insights for organizations to better support and motivate female staff during change processes, thereby contributing to improving organizational change management strategies. |
