Countries around the world want to bring a new look to higher education through the application of innovative teaching. Therefore, in order to correspond to the global trend of higher education which attaching great importance to teaching quality and innovation, and to examine the current situation of innovative teaching in Taiwan's higher education, this study explored the relationship between self-efficacy, intention and behavior of college teachers in implementing innovative teaching, and explored the impact of relevant implementation measures and campus climate. Accordingly, this study adopted a questionnaire survey, taking teachers from public and private colleges and universities in Taiwan as the research object, and collected 1,137 valid questionnaires. Base on the results of the analysis, it is concluded that self-efficacy, intention and behavior of teachers in implementing innovative teaching have reached a medium-high standard, and their relationship has reached a moderate or high level of influence, and has a mediating effect; at the same time, it also found that promoting innovative teaching methods is the most effective way for higher education institutions to improve teachers' innovative teaching , and interpersonal relationship is the most favorable dimension in campus climate which facilitates innovative teaching. Finally, some suggestions are put forward based on the conclusions, including: improving teachers' innovative teaching self-efficacy, establishing a mechanism to support innovative teaching, and creating the climate which facilitate interpersonal relationship. |
