National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) has a long history. In addition to inheriting the exemplary tradition of teacher education, it has adapted to contemporary trends through industry collaboration and investment in technological development, successfully transforming into a diversified comprehensive university. The NTNU Library (hereinafter referred to as“the Library") is a substantial support for the teaching and research of faculty and students across the university. The library holds the social responsibility of preserving cultural heritage and has long served as the convening unit of Taiwan Academic E-Book and Database Consortium (TAEBDC), enhancing Taiwan's competitiveness in international research and development. The Library's core service values emphasize user experience, encourage innovative thinking, promote collaborative cooperation, and pursue excellent service. Focusing on public service, brand building, and space optimization, the Library constructs a flexible and multidimensional environment, making it the center of knowledge supply, dissemination, service, and preservation on campus. It is also the center for knowledge publication and marketing, and promotes reading, culture, and information literacy. Through its perseverance and continuous innovation in providing multifaceted services, the Library helps NTNU set benchmarks in higher education, boosting its reputation as a globally renowned university. |
