The Synergy of AI and Design Thinking: A Scenario for Library Transformation

圖書館作為一個具有生命力的有機體，當設計思維普及以及人工智慧（AI）崛起雙雙成為演進的動能時，如何在這充滿可能性與不確定性的時代中找到平衡，是當前重要課題。本文從設計切入，探討設計能力與其在圖書館中的應用，並透過工業革命時期新技術對社會的影響為例，探討人工智慧對圖書館發展帶來的挑戰與機遇。期望藉由設計與AI的結合，幫助圖書館在這股變革浪潮中順利進化，邁向卓越與成功的轉型。

As a growing organism, how libraries should respond to the opportunities and challenges brought by design thinking and artificial intelligence (AI) is a fundamental issue. This article starts with design, exploring the competencies and applications of design in libraries. Subsequently, using the impact of new technologies during the Industrial Revolution as an example, this article illustrates how AI may influence the future development of libraries. We believe that the integration of design and AI can assist libraries in achieving a successful transformation.
