Dr. Joseph Renzulli was invited to deliver a keynote speech at the 17th Asia-Pacific Conference on Giftedness on how he integrated his concepts and theories in gifted education and talent development aligns with the principles of assessment for learning. Tracking students’strengths during learning activities helps teachers effectively identify potentials and talents of students, especially in low-income families and minority groups. Adopting a strength-based profile and personalized learning strategies creates an environment where all students can learn with enjoyment, engagement, and enthusiasm. That is what Renzulli called 3E learning. In this speech, Renzulli combines theoretical concepts, practical examples, and provided guidance for educations and teachers for the better future of gifted education. |
