Taiwan's teacher education policy has evolved from the planned training approach of the Normal Education Law to the diversified training direction of the Teacher Education Law, cultivating numerous excellent teachers. However, the ultimate goal of teacher education remains to nurture teachers who can effectively impart knowledge that is in line with global trends, possess high internal motivation, and have lifelong learning autonomy. The latter part of the article proposes the concept of transformative competencies, aiming to cultivate teachers who meet the OECD 2030 Education Framework, ultimately benefiting students. |
