Travel texts serve as both a narrative of action and the beginning of a place narrative. This study, grounded in the objectives of the course ''Travelling, Literature and Geography,'' explores various travel texts that weave narratives about oneself, others and places. Additionally, the study incorporates the application and transformation of a ''reality puzzle game'' to illustrate the interplay between virtual and reality in place narratives. It aims to guide and prompt students to reflect on the process of intertwining reality and imagination as they explore themselves and different places during travel. Therefore, in the practice of this study, the auxiliary learning experience and appearance of the reality puzzle game is not only through a gamification situation, but also through situated, cooperative and action learning methods to allow students to interact with a game about experiential learning of local culture and history through organic independent exploration Moreover, the study uses the characteristics of a reality puzzle game to guide students in reflecting on the dynamics between individuals and places during travel. Furthermore, the study encourages students to reflect on the essence and significance of getting lost, taking the wrong way, being unable to find or discover targets, and the resulting differences and gaps of perception of places during travel. Based on this, the study will conduct a reality puzzle game exploration focusing on the Dadaocheng District, supplemented by participant observation, to address the study's exploration and objectives. |
