The purpose of this article was to share the teleservice experience for people with intellectual disability from June 6, 2021, to July 30, 2021, when all organizations and schools in Taiwan were instructed by the Ministry of Health and Welfare to shut down because of the severity of COVID-19. During these 8 weeks, the Center videotaped activity contents through demonstration, then delivered via social media like Line to service users. All videotaped materials were presented to service users in 3 stages: (1) all ages, asynchronous online service; (2) division based on age and thematic asynchronous teleservice; (3) hybrid teleservice. This article suggests that in the post-epidemic period, organizations could implement teleservices by (1) Regular taping teaching materials and integrating video modeling in routine-based learning. (2) Building a teaching video database to extend services when needed. |
