從《玉琳國師傳》與《再世情緣》論星雲大師人間佛教的特色

星雲大師（1927-2023）與玉琳國師（1614-1675）同為臨濟宗法脈傳人。星雲大師於1954年出版《玉琳國師》傳記小說；中視於1992年改編為33集戲劇《再世情緣》，應用現代大眾傳媒，循循善誘眾生安住無上佛法。因果輪迴，文本分析，故事主軸為前世今生情緣，化私愛為大愛。解脫愛執名利，了悟生死業海，見性成佛。大乘菩薩道善權方便法門，審其根機，應病與藥，不執不離。緣理斷九，非究竟義。《維摩詰經》除病不除法，《妙法蓮華經》開權顯實，不斷斷，究竟義圓教。自覺覺他，以出世之心行入世之事，弘法利生。星雲大師於《再世情緣》說：「玉琳國師是清朝初年，帝王和全國民眾的老師。現在以電視劇演出，主要的目的，就是為了匡正社會人心，增加人間道德勇氣。」實踐人間佛教。
