This paper takes the narrative model of ''Director Harmony'' in Master Hsing Yun's ''The Way of Self-Study'' as the object of investigation, and divides it into two parts: ''narrative structure'' and ''narrative process'' for analysis. It can be found that the ''narrative structure'' in ''The Way of Self-Study'' is a vertical schematic structure, which corresponds to the superficial things and the deep principles, so that the principles and things are integrated seamlessly, and its ''narrative process'' can be relatively divided. It is an ''illustrative narrative process'' and an ''enlightenment-based narrative process''. Through textual narrative, the creative subject's feelings are revealed, so that the narrative process and the practice in reality echo each other. However, regardless of the ''narrative structure'' and ''narrative process'', it can be concluded that the narrative model of ''The Way of Self-Study'' is based on the ''integration of directors'' as the leading principle, making narrative both an expression and a practice, and the purpose is to pursue The ultimate ideal of humanistic Buddhism is to benefit all sentient beings. |
