The purpose of this presentation is 1, to report the Chinese student group formation and development. 2, to discuss the factors which effects the group process and development.. 3, to compare the effects of the group development from the stand point of the Inventory of Group Objects (IGO, developed by Agnes Wu, 1981). Methods: 25Taiwanese-Chinese graduate students divided into four groups by their own choice, participated in a series of 5 sessions (total of 24 hours), with the method of acting-observing, in-out group rotation. the data collection including individual diary about group process, group report in the large group, small group sculpture by in-group and out-group, self-rating questionnaire (IGO). the result will be presented by charts and figures. |
