Image generation technology has been a hot topic in recent years, and the use of this technology has changed many industrial ecology. This research aims to apply generative image technology to printing design as a research direction. Printing design patterns were first made by traditional hand-made on textiles and later were digitally printed. The application scope of printing design patterns is no longer limited to textiles, but can be printed on a variety of different materials, increasing the so-called printing capabilities. The applicable scope makes it more commercializable. In recent years, socalled image generation technology has been developed. Based on a large amount of data, users only need to input text descriptions to quickly generate a large number of corresponding patterns, speeding up the efficiency of product completion. This article looks at the impact of AI-generated image technology on design from the perspective of case analysis, and analyzes the case of the three visual elements color element, color element, and quality, and uses the technology to generate images with this characteristic to explore the production and development of print design.
