The ''Strengthening Social Safety Net'' has set up 156 social welfare centers across the country since 2018. Currently, social welfare centers need supervisors with sufficient professional competence to assist social workers in providing stable and efficient services for vulnerable families. The purpose of this article was to analyze the design and implementation of the ''Empowerment Program of Social Work Supervisors in Social Welfare Service Centers''. The design of empowerment program is mainly based on the concept of adult learning and family-centered service, through three stages and five sessions training. This study collected feedback data from trainees as the basis for effectiveness evaluation. Based on these finding, suggestions of this study for future policy include: (1) emphasis on practical exercises; (2) through case review and discussion; (3) incorporate family-centered services; (4) develop small district alliance; and (5) qualified supervisors serve as seed lecturers. |
