Taiwan Female Pop singer Cheer Chen had been made her debut in 1997. Even now in the neoliberal era, her song which is called "Twee Pop" style still make people feel comfort. In the first, this research will arrange the meaning of "Twee Pop " between Taiwan and China and then discuss what these fans feel for the social perception and their sentiment of modernity. This research used Online-survey and discourse analysis. Online-survey questionnaires were issued in three Internet communities: the fan club of Chen in Facebook private association, the official guestbook, and "Cheer board" in "PTT". Collected 199 valid samples. In gender composition, female accounts for 55.28% of total fans, and male accounts for 44.72%. In age composition, fans are mainly based on 15~22 years old, which accounts for 50.75%. On the other way, we focus on the fans' messages from September 2014 to January 2015 on official guestbook to do discourse analysis. The result found that the fans who experienced the modern sentiment, can be classified to four categories: invisible future, fans who don't like the present job, using the aesthetic feeling as the comfort of helpless, and fans who can't find a sense of belonging. |
