Social drama explores individual psychological and social experience issues via improvisational theater. The study attempted to apply inter-subjectivity to examine human relations depicted in social drama. Interpretivephenomenological research method was employed to analyze the human interactions embedded in a social drama course. The transforming interpersonal relationship in the social drama was illuminated in four dimensions. The first dimension, mother-daughter relationship, revealed illuminated the true self and learns to be patient. The second dimension, intergenerational transmission, highlighted self-alert tofamily inheritance and self-awareness to own action. Next, colleague's relationship indicated retrospection through embodied experience and nonjudgmental understanding. Last, the relations with oneself included awareness of oneself and living in the moment. The members were able to go through the suffering in their life from being authentic self and the ability of empathy with others, which developed in the social drama. |
