Group counseling is a social microcosm which can provide adolescents share life experiences and obsessions. Adolescents can redress their frustrated experiences or learn new coping skills by leader's demonstration and members' influence. Because of immature mind, restricted thinking patterns, unstable emotions, and insufficient coping skills, adolescents can't deal with complicate surroundings well. However, instead of presenting frailness, they pretend to be strong. The aim of this study is to apply hope theory to adolescents' growth group counseling. In view of "uncritical, goal oriented and hopeful" mode, it may help readers understand rebellious and self-concept vague adolescents. |
